Trying to design this blog (this blog), but of course, I suck.

Grungy? Glossy? Ornate?

I'm demoing Desktoptopia and it has some ornate inspirations, like this or this. That vein is a lot like the backgrounds available for Pownce. Oh, that's also the main Threadless aesthetic, of course. Maybe it's too faddish.

I spent today assembling a new LiveJournal style. Yay!

It's just a theme layer on Bloggish, but what a theme layer it is. The most complicated thing it does is parse out the <p class="ljsyndicationlink"> HTML from syndicated posts, so it can link to the remote page in the title and timestamp.
